Static Panels

Static panels are built-in components of the solution that appear in response to specific actions on the point of sale terminal. When selecting a panel, security settings can be applied to the action buttons within that screen. This page outlines each panel and explains when it is used.

Static Panels

If there are multiple themes available select a theme before choosing the security option

The following static panels are assigned to the security section:

Adjust Tip Confirmation Prompt	The prompt displayed when to a POS operator when a tip adjustment is made	USA Only Setting

Clear Stock Status List	The prompt displayed after a POS operator taps Open Terminal and there are existing products set as out of stock, the operator can confirm to put all items back into stock or leave all items as set
Clock In	The prompt displayed when a POS operator clocks in for the start of their shift or when a new employee is created
Complete Pre Auth Prompt
Confirm Clock Out with Open Accounts	The prompt displayed when a POS operator who has open accounts attempts to clock out and open accounts are still assigned to them	Zonal recommends to use Transfer Ownership to change the owner of open accounts if an operator is to be prevented with open accounts upon clock out
Confirm Clock Out with Park Accounts	The prompt displayed when a POS operator who has park accounts attempts to clock out and park accounts are not yet actioned
Confirm Clock Out with Unfinalised Payments	The prompt displayed when a POS operator who has not finalised all payments attempts to clock out	USA Only Setting
Confirm End Drawer Session with Active Money Belt Sessions	The prompt displayed a POS operator has active money sessions and attempts to end the drawer session with a session change
Confirm End Drawer Session with Open Mobile Terminals	The prompt displayed when a POS operator has open mobile terminals and attempts to end the drawer session with a session change
Confirm End Money Belt Session with Open Accounts	The prompt displayed when a POS operator has open accounts and attempts to end their money belt session
Confirm End Session with Active Employee	The prompt displayed when a POS operator taps Session Change and and another operator has an open account against their name without having been saved (with or without a balance)
Confirm End Session with Open Accounts	The prompt displayed when a POS operator taps Session Change and open accounts are still active
Confirm No Tips	The prompt displayed when a POS operator has confirmed they have no tips to declare	USA Only Setting
Confirm Override Staff Break Length
Confirm Reopen MOA Account	The prompt displayed when a POS operator taps Reopen Account for an account that was created / handled by MOA terminals	MOA = Mobile Ordering Application
Customer Age Verification	The prompt displayed when a POS operator attempts to sell a product from a subcategory that has an age restriction configured
Discount Card Swipe	The prompt displayed when a POS operator taps a discount button that is configured to be activated by card swipe
EFT Comms Failure	The prompt displayed to a POS operator when a communications failure has occurred during an integrated card payment
EFT Processing	The prompt displayed to a POS operator during an integrated card payment
EFT Response	The prompt displayed to a POS operator during an integrated card payment and the response is shown
EFT Result Entry	The prompt displayed to a POS operator when the response result is entered for integrated card payments

Enter Pay Time Customer Reference with Cancel	The screen displayed when a POS operator is due to enter the customer reference or has tapped

Promotion Card Swipe	The prompt displayed when a POS operator taps the Promo Card Swipe button
Recall Account	The screen displayed when a POS operator taps the Recall Account button
Redeem Deposit Confirmation	The prompt displayed when a POS operator has selected a booking deposit for redemption
Select Account Number	The screen displayed when a POS operator taps the Pickup Account button
Select Payment to Finalise	The screen displayed when a POS operator taps Finalise Payments	USA Only Setting
Select PIN Pad	The prompt displayed when a POS operator is requested select a PIN Pad to perform a selected integrated payment transaction
Signature Verification	The screen displayed when a POS operator has completed an integrated card payment that required a signtuare
Split Account	The screen displayed when a POS operator taps the Split Account button
Standalone Mode Reconciliation	The screen displayed when a POS operator attempts to take a terminal out of standalone mode and start the reconciliation of accounts that were handled offline
Transfer Account in Use	The prompt displayed when a POS operator attempts to merge an account when the account being merged with is already in use by another operator

Setting Security

Follow these steps to apply security settings to buttons:

Role Based Security

Select a Static Panel from the drop down
Double click on a button
Deselect Job Roles that are not able to perform the function
Click OK

Time Based Security

Time based security can be used in conjunction with role base security.

Select a Static Panel from the drop down
Double click on a button
Click Add
Set the Start and Time of the security period
Select the required Days that the security period applies
Click OK
Adjust the Job Roles that can access the button during the time period
Additional time periods can be added to meet the requirements of the organisation where different roles can access the button at different day and times
